My friends dog has just started to eat the garden soil at the age of 11
He is a labrador.Anyone know how this is or how to stop it.

Hi Karen, your friend needs to take him to a vet to get him checked over.
I had an oldie that ate soil and also the contents of the ashtray, it turned out he had a tumour.
Maybe nothing but best to get it checked.
