My dog who's a 5 yr old Rottweiller has wharts in his ears, to the point where his ear canal is completely clogged!! My vet indicated that he will need surgery and that more than likely these are wharts but they would have to be tested to make sure that it is not a tumor.

Has anyone had this situation with their dog before?
What was the outcome (Good or bad I need to know)

I'm looking at about $4000 in surgery for both ears.

Thank You.

Hi
I would get a second opinion before you go ahead with surgery,I'm sure warts can be removed without surgery, creams and stuff ( i think ) but obviously you need to act quick to rule out it being a tumour.
Hope it all goes well :)

You could get a homeopathic opinion as certain remedies work well on warts.

I use homeopathy on my son & dogs regularly with good results.
