Hi Our pup is 10 weeks old today and he is a labrador called Oscar . When we went to the vets he commented on oscars belly for which i told him he is being wormed .
The breeder wormed them on a weekly basis - I wormed him when i got him and again two weeks later (today!)

After the lasdt lot of tablets his belly did go down now it seems swollen again , why is this , is this being caused by worms or could there be another cause?

The tablets we are using are Johnsons worming tablets - he is give two.

Are these tablets from the vet or from the pet shop? The ones from the vet are more expensive but much more efficient.

They are from a pet shop was not sure where to get them from .
Also he spent some time with my mums dog yesturday he is fully vaccinated etc but i think Oscar ate some of the Complete dog food (not a puppy complete just an ordinary one) Is this a problem?

It might upset his tummy a bit, as any new food can, but other than that won't do him any harm. For the worming, I would definitely get something from the vet.

I would advise that you get worming tablets from your vet, they are much stronger than the ones you buy from a pet shop. You say that Oscar has just been ill on the sofa - do you mean he was sick ? This could also be an indication that he has worms. The little "sweary words" can be a right pain in the rear end to get rid of, but if your puppy has a bad infestation it may take a few wormings to get rid of them all. Good luck.

Hiya, not sure if I can use names of products on here, but I'd definitely go to the vet and get Panacur, it's more expensive, and your dog may have to be weighed etc, but its worth the money.
My Mom has tried using pet shop bought wormers on her dog, and they don't seem to be as effective.

Admin, sorry if we're not allowed to use brand names.
