where in the uk can i find american water spaniel breeders

I don't tjhink there are any, someone may prove me wrong.

do you mean irish water spaniels, liver coloured with ringlets,please forgive me breeders but its the best way i could discribe them without being in the gundog group

American Water Spaniels look similar in appearance to the Irish Water Spaniel but are much smaller in size, nearer to a Cocker Spaniel I would say. I also don't think there are any American Water Spaniels in the UK, unless someone knows different? It might be worth contacting the Kennel Club to see if they know of anyone who has imported them.

A search also came up with a Facts/Question sheet, but nothing for a UK breeder, which is strange considering that the breed originated in Great Britain before being introduced to the US in 1865. It is FCI registered, so perhaps you can find a breeder other than someone in the US who would be easier to import into the UK from in light of the quarantine issues.
