I am currenntley training my pup with a half choke chain! Is this the correct type of lead to use?

Don't know your breed well, but if you have the collar set so it can't hurt the dog and you are getting the sort of control you need for the saftey of your dog, yourself and any one you meet then I would say yes, a half check is fine.

My Bordeaux is now 7 months old we had her on a half choker up untill about a month ago, but she is now about 6stone plus and we have now put her on a harness type collar, it is the nylon not leather but it gives us more control of her,as she is a bit bousterous
