Through a friend, I have just been given a 5 month old femal rottie.
Now, I am told she is full blooded and she does appear to be. My
question is that she still has her tall. Is it to late to have it clipped?

Yes

Tails can be docked before the puppies' eyes are open, and preferably before 4 days of age. It can only be done by a vet, and a vet will only amputate the tail of an adult dog for a good veterinary reason, not because the owner doesn't like it.

Let your dog enjoy having her tail.
