Hi, I'm looking for a groomer in my area, or not too far from me. Is there anyone who can recommend a groomer to me? They will have to have the patience of a saint to deal with my Yorkie. She hates to be be bathed and brushed, so I have no idea how she will react to being groomed. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks in advance. Shirl :D

A lady at our local ringcraft class at Launton is a groomer. She lives at Bodicote, nr Banbury, if that's near enough for you?

Thank you Liz! That would be great. Banbury is not far at all from me. Would you mind asking her if she grooms dogs that are "difficult". As I said before, she hates to be bathed and brushed. We used to have a really good one in my village, Milton Under Wychwood, just up the road from Chippy if you know it. We used to take our crew for baths and grooming and they were great ! Unfortunately they closed down about six months ago due to the increase in rates etc ! Such a shame as I would have recommended them without a doubt as we have friends who had two Yorkies that regularily went there.I will see if they still do it on a mobile basis if that will help.

There is another that was advertising in the local mag for this sort of area, but have thrown the thing out ! Sorry. I will see if anybody else still has the mag and I will let you know.

It was an auction and went to a higher bidder! We're still looking though and will find something we can afford one day (wishful thinking?!).

There is a lovely place just up the road going for auction in a couple of weeks time. The last time it was on the market w on was 1873 or something silly like that! It needs some work doing but has quite a bit of land ?? £200K is the estiamted price?

Is it Myrtle Cottage with Tayler Fletcher? If so, it looks like the right kind of thing, but we're looking for something bigger, detached, with more land. Which is why we haven't found something affordable yet. Still, the longer it takes, the more we can save up! :D

Have you thought about the Mobile Dog Wash, i see the van they use around town quite a lot (i live in Bicester).
They maybe able to help, and they come to you too, so you could surpervise whilst you little one get's clipped.

The Mobile Dog Wash people in my area don't trim - they just bath - dead hair, knots and all! ;)

Yes it was Myrtle cottage. Did you go and see it as it seemed quite big even though only two bedrooms but planning for extensions. Anyway the sold sign is now up !

The one in Upper Milton I think you were looking at is now nearly all renovated and looks really nice! I bet you were upset you didn't get it !
