I will be entering Savannah in a champ show for the end of June - entries closing 6th May. At the moment she has 2 firsts so is still eligible for Novice classes and I intend to enter her for Novice in this show. BUT what happens if she wins another first in the meantime - do I have to notify the show to move her up a class or is it okay because she was still Novice when registered for this show?

I think it's wins up until the close of entries that count, not after that. Someone else will verify, I'm sure. Have you any shows to go before now and 6th May?

I have a breed show on the 4th of May. Not casting aspersions - but we're going for fun - we know we won't be taking a first - will be pleased if we get a 4th.

If we did happen to win on that day then yes - I would get in touch for sure with the Ch show club as it would be before closing. Was more wondering because we've got about 2-3 others in June before the date of that show and one of them she normally does well at.

Wins are usually counted up to 7 days before the close of entries. If you look in the schedule it will explain when or more likely give you the date after which it would not matter what your wins were. Even if you will BIS on the 4th May it will make no difference to your being able to enter the Novice class.

Thank you - I feel a bit of a DUH coming on. I have looked all through schedules to find that kind of info and after you said it should be there I look at the 'definition of classes' section and there it is in every schedule.
