Does anyone know where I can get the following items, their availability & their taste (Don't want to waste money on stuff that tastes "boggin"!!!)
Almond/Rice/Sesame milk
Millet (No budgie jokes please!),Quinoa, Buckwheat
Various types of nuts & seeds
Hummus/Tahini/Nut Butter/Guacamole
Is it necessary to have herb teas? It's bad enough having to swap my normal cuppa for fruit teas but herb ones? Don't think I could stomach those.
Holland & Barratt are pretty good for all things vegan, they have fridges so may well stock some of the milks, you could also try independent health stores, they are usually very helpful too, and large supermarkets, particularly Sainsbury and Tesco have good deli counters with Houmous, etc
Guacamole is nice, with mexican type foods and salads, houmous I only like in moderation with tasty things to dip in it! Some nuts and seeds are okay on their own, brazils, almonds (better in a bakewell though!!) cashews and sunflower seeds, but some of the smaller grittier ones I sprinkle on my weetablix and leave them to soften a bit in the milk.
Best of luck
Hayley
(Not sure about teas though, I don't like hot drinks at all)
