new nickname is 'spotty botty!'...we have a 15 week old Staff called Ruby Tuesday, she is ( or was!) white with a brown patch on each eye, however she has been getting dark patches under her fur and all over bum and tummy! She is starting to look like a Dalmation trapped in a Staffies body!!! We saw both her parents , mum was white with a brown head, Dad was brindle. Will her fur turn as dark as these patches on her skin or will it stay white? And why are these spots appearing all of a sudden? She still looks really sweet, but a little ...er...unusual!

it is very common and she will stay that way it is just skin showing through the white fur.it is not classed a fault either and i have seen many whites/pieds like this.

colours can change slightly as they get older . Gus was black when we got him with 2 white paws . One paw has now turned black and the other has blackened somewhat but has a small white piece still and he has lots of brindle coming through all over now even though both mum and dad are black but his grandad has alot of brindle
