Hi everyone, has anyones else experienced a bitch who just sleep whilst actually giving birth, thats whats happening to my bitch who started whelping yesterday and is still going strong today. she sleep her way thru the contractions and then just gives a few pushes no noise no groans nothing and with a bit of encouragement from me the pup is delivered, this is the first bitch that I have had that does it this way needless to say its a very tiring busines for all concerned, I though that she had finished last nite at 12.00 grabbed a couple of hours sleep beside her, when I woke I found a bitch puppy that she had on her own dead, if she lets out some noise I would have woken and maybe this wouldn,t have happened, pups are being born at 2-3 hour intervals I currently have 8 and she is still going, pups are nice chunky pups feeding well I am so pleased with them, but the boys are overtaking the girls at 6 to 2
will keep you all posted on the next epsidode I have a feeling that I am going to be here for a long time yet

Hi everyone I had 8 in the end THANK GOD puppies are doing brilliantly well worth the wait and the hard work Tyler dotes on them, they are feeding well and gaining weight, she carried them up until 63 days which I am pleased about, didn,t like her labour though, but she coped the best way she could

Congratulations and I do hope everything keeps going well for you. My bitch didn't make any much noise during her contractions and then spat them out in under 6 hours ! They are 5 weeks old now ( 9 of them !) and are everywhere and anywhere and I'm sure I'm feeding them on rocket fuel !! Still I like to make sure they have the best time ever before going off to their new homes even though they leave me toatlly exhusted I would'nt swap them for anything. Ask me that in a few hours time I might just not say that - only kidding !!
