Can anyone help? How can I find out where there are dog shows and when. Also what do CS and CC mean. I love going to shows but usually find out about them after the event. I'd love to go to one this weekend but I prefer the larger ones. Are there any this weekend or next?

CS usually stands for Canine Society ie. Otley CS. CC usually stands for Challange Certificates and these are on offer to breeds at Championship Shows.

CC if after the name of the society running the show can also stand for Canine Club. Our local one is Poole Canine Club rather than Canine Society so goes by Poole CC

If you get either the 'Dog World' or 'Our Dogs' newspapers, they list all the open shows & champ shows. If they are not available at your newsagent then WH Smiths have them.

Dog World is not a "sale or return" newspaper, therefore most places don't sell it, you have to order it.
