Do you mean she is enthusiastic when cleaning her paws or is she doing it all the time ?

Hi lel yes very enthusiastic when cleaning her paws but can go at them for quite a long time

My Golden Retriever does this too, I think it could be the fur between the pads being irritating!!!!
Almost as irritating as them licking their paws :(

My Bulldog does it too, my Vet said to soak his paws in salt water, wash between the digits thoroughly, and dry well. Now I'm trying a more bland diet too, something with less protein, apparently they itch less then??!! Worth a go!!

Hi my Bc Cyan started doing this when she was in whelp and my vet said she had a type of atheletes foot. She was prescribed malaseb shampoo and I had too wash her feet leaving the shampoo on for 10 minutes every day for a week until it cleared up.Gillian

Feet licking can also be an allergic reaction. Possibilities are carpets, cleaning fluids or powders used on carpeting, soap residue left after cleaning floors or allergies to grass and anything growing in grass (or chemicals).

My little chap was doing this constantly and it turned out that he had ear mites which had transferred to his paws through scratching his ears.
I now sprinkle alittle thornit powder on his paws if he looks to be chewing more than usual.
