my golden retrievers nose keeps getting pink when it is sunny whether does anyone know what i should do

When someone finds a real solution they will make a fortune. You can try only bottled water, boiled new grown nettles (iron), seaweed, and so the list can go on. My friend always gave her dogs rain water and when she moved to another area the tap water must have been different because their noses have improved.

Can you use sun lotion _ I know white dogs are advised to wear it on their ears etc

My Golden has always had a pink nose. It's part of him now he'd look very strange with a black one. The vet tells us that it his skin pigment. He's got a lovely coat and tail so that make up for loss of colour to nose. Mary
