My dog has a very prominent adam's apple. I mentioned this on a recent visit to the vet in case it was a swelling of another origin ie thyroid. The vet looked at me as though I was totally mad and said this was completely normal. I felt a bit of a fool, but am still wondering as none of my other dogs have had such a pronounced bony prominence. Has anyone else seen this in a male dog?
