my 7 year old bully bitch has developed over the last week or two a dry ear on the inner part.It must itch as she keeps on scratching it. Has anyone any ideas what it could be and any cures or help for it

If there is no ear infection or mites, I have used calendula cream on dry ears like this with great success. Hope this helps.

Just in case i might give the calendula cream a go, where can i get it from please??

Hiya Matt
My Staffie has had this before. The vet diagnosed it as a yeast infection inside the inner ear canal.
It cleared in a matter of days after I started the drops I was given by the vet (sorry cant remember what they were called)

Thanks Lucy, she has got some ear drops called Leo from the vets a while ago, that is for just generally clening ear wax.It seems to be clearing a bit on its own now, so i'll just see how it goes over the next few days..
