Does anyone know how long it should take for a hip score result to come back my bitch had her hips tested nearly five weeks ago and i still havnt heard anything i rang the vet and he just said they can take ages

Check with your vets again. You may find the results are sitting in an inbox waiting for someone to phone you!

If they are anything like my vets, you need to check more than once if you are waiting for any form of results. Very often the head doesn't know what the *** is doing :rolleyes:

Yes your quite right admin my vet is just the same!!!!

I had my Bracco done on 28th Feb and it came back on 31 March to the vets.The BVA meet once a month so the scores should be back in just over a month.

I had my bitch x-rayed on 3.9.02 and the certificate issued by the BCA was dated 4.10.02. I think they now sit twice a month rather than once but Im not sure. You can ring them to see if they have completed yours, their number is 0207636 6541. Mind you, I have only just received a copy of my bitches certificate this week since my vets had sent the original to my old address and its not been seen since!!

I have just had 2 scores back after 7 weeks of waiting.
The third has not yet come back and the vet is not particularly bothered about chasing it up as he advised me not to send it in! This score will be high on one side due to an accident with the dog but still wanted a score.
