Older family would like to purchase a hound puppy: we are not sure which kind of hound we want;Iberian, Spanish, Italian or American. Previously owned beautiful brindle greyhound who died last year. Plans would be to show this animal and to sign it up for obedience. Intelligence and Champion bloodlines certainally a factor.
No hesitation to sign contract for showing.
Have 4 acres. Large 30' pen, 4' high for excerise with path to House.
Have Good vet. Keep all records/papers and shots in folder. I would be primary owner, husband, co-owner.
History:Our former greyhound was intelligent. She knew exactally when to be quiet around husband,(he has trouble walking), and knew she could run to her heart's content with me, yet obyed voice commands to and from the pen. Her transition skills were remarkable.
Would like puppy, about 5-6 months to train with No bad habits please.

There are very many breeds that come under your selection. You will probably have to narrow it down a bit.

We'd all like a 5-6 months puppy with no bad habits. I don't think such a thing exists! :)

What sort of hound do you want, or is it any sight hound would do?
