i have heard that milk is bad for dogs but they seem to love it. mine drink it and never be sick. so is it true that it is bad for them or is it a myth.

My dogs are fine with it, but it makes my Mother's dog ill. So, no hard-and-fast rule. Depends on the dog.

Some dogs can be intolerant to it. My folks GSD's had a pint of milk a day each and were very healthy :)
If yours like it then let them have it.

My dogs like milk, but we give them Goat's milk. My seven month old pup still has goat's milk every day as a "meal".

Murphy has goats milk - either with egg or honey! He doesn't have this every night but he really does love it.

My aunt would give her beagle about 1/2 pint of double cream every Sunday - poured straight into his bowl :) He lived past 17 :)

Banya loves goats milk - and my other dogs occasionally had a few drops of milk as a treat.

A friend has given her BC cow's milk for all of his life, and he isnow 13, but i know some dogs do react with upset stomachs, etc.
