Could someone please tell me what the gestation is for a Giant Schnauzer.

The average gestation is the same for all breeds - approximately 63 days.

There are some variances between breeds, bulldogs I believe are a few days longer. One small factor which can cause a few days difference is the females eggs are immatuture at the time of ovulation and can take a couple of days to mature so if you mated your bitch on the 1st of the month at ovulation the eggs may not be fertilized till the 3rd or 4th... a fairly useless bit of information but if you are sitting watching the date it may accout for a few days over! That is part of the reason for some people have a second mating... but that is an other subject
