hi I have a 6 year old dog who has been acting very strangly sense the wind blew a door shut.
first he followed me every where and did not want to leave me.He even tried to get into the shower with
me.

Then he started shaking violently during the night, panting, and was agitated. What does this mean is he just scared or is this something serious?

If anyone can answer my question it would be much appreciated.

Might be a good idea to get him checked over by the vet!

have you had your dog since he was a pup or did you home him at a later age ?
Just thinking that maybe he's had a nasty experience in the past which he's been reminded of by the door slamming shut ?
I would take him to the vet just to be sure .
Some dogs dont like loud noises and visibly act frightened - like with thunder etc or fireworks

Once your dog's been checked by the vet you might like to try a dog pheramone to calm him. These can be bought from the vets and simply plug into a wall socket.
