I'm trying to decide whether I should get a mini-daschund as my next puppy. I already have a silky terrier and 7 cats. Everybody gets along and I was wondering how this breed might get along with the mix.

Hi Aniol. You shouldn't have any problems if your getting a puppy.
Mine, i'm afraid, are cat chasers, but only if the cat runs away from them. If it just sits there they tend not to bother. They get on well with other breeds of dog that they know.
Dachshunds are notoriously stubborn and aren't the easiest of breed to housetrain, but are also characters, and very loving.
