I am looking for anyone with a cocker spaniel bitch that is around 1 year or possibly a little older that isn't that much. meaning around 200.00 or 250.00. I want to breed my male cocker spaniel with one, found out that he had worms and they told me that if i wanted to breed him with another then it is best to do it now. since puppies are treated for worms when they are born.
Please email me. Trying to aleast be able to breed him with something so that i can have something to remember him by. they said that it is possible that he might not come out of it. They said that he should have a good chance.

This is no reason to breed a litter!!!

If your dog has worms, get him treated. It should be done every 3 months throughout a dog's life anyway. No unhealthy dog should ever be mated. Whoever "they" are who told you this, know nothing whatsoever about the art or science of breeding. Was it a discussion late at night in the pub? It sounds like one.

Change your advisers.

:( sorry to hear about your dog not being well, but instead of breeding from him, why dont you go back to his breeder and put your name down for a puppy from them? Breeding to me seems a very very time consuming process and a lot of care is taken by a lot of breeders on this board and I only stand back in wonder at how they manage it, I know I couldn't do it myself, I think with your dog being ill, your time would be better off spent with him. IMHO. I know if I were in your shoes right now I would only be concentrating on getting my dog as healthy and as comfortable as possible. Should in the future you wish for another dog 'like' him then I wish you very well, although I have heard on here and other sites many times that you shouldn't look to find another 'just like' yours as they are always different, and I strongly believe that.

What kind of worms does your dog have? The only worms that i know of that would do serious damage to a dog is heart worms, where abouts are you? Although having said that, the possibility of maybe loseing your dog is still not a very good reason to mate him so that you would be able to have one of his puupys so he can still live on through one of them if the worst came to the worst, it takes a lot to breed a litter of puppies, health checks, finding dogs that are suitable for each other, pre and after care for the bitch and then for the puppys, worming, injections, food, it goes on and on, i think you should seriously think about getting your boy healthy again if that is possible, i dont mean to sound patronising at all that is not my intention, just trying to highlight the implications for you and give you some proper advice as you dont seem to have recieved much of it from who ever you have been talking to.
