I've been going through the lists and I have most posts very helpfull!

I have a bitch that was confirmed pregnant by ultrasound on day 30. (saw 2 pups) She is now on day 47 and the last few days she only picks at her food and doesn't eat all of it, or sometimes won't touch any at all. I don't know if it's because she doesn't like what I feed her , she will gobble up eggs, yogurt or treats (dog bone, etc.). Should I be worried or just leave her decide when to eat? Could it be that she reabsorbed the litter? She hasn't got too big yet , we see a small different in her waistline but not much. Any other signs I could look for? She is getting an X-rays done in a few days.

Hi, I agree. If indeed she does have just a couple of pups, if she eats too heartily they may grow too big to deliver easily. As long as she is happy and waggy I wouldn't worry. If you are not already I would divide her food into 2 or 3 small meals.

I wouldn't worry about this Justine. Jasmine went off her food at around week 5 and only picked at her meals. Indulge her and give her what she wants, it won't last forever. :)

Thanks for all the replies! This morning she ate everything! Strange!! She's never been as happy as this, the tail is always wagging and she woo woo's all the time!
