myself and my husband are very interested in a labrador as our new pet. we live in bamburgh in northumberland but are willing to travel to find the perfect dog for us.

Try the Labrador info pages on Champdogs. It contains a Breed Guide plus lots of useful contact details for breeders clubs etc. Attend a local dog show if you can and talk to many different breeders. It well worth taking the time and effort to get the right dog.

Why don't you also register with champdogs, so you can join in the discussions and ask any more questions.
