My 3 month old Yorkie sleeps on his pee pad even when its soiled!! Why does he do that? He knows to use that to go to bathroom, but then he goes and lie in it!! How do I train him not to do that? He has a bed that he sleeps in, which he's gone to on his own before. But he can't seem to tell the difference between his pad and his bed. He actually prefers his pee pad over his bed!! Please help!

The short answer is to take away the pee-pad! It's obviously not helping him learn to be clean indoors, so chuck it out and start the house-training again from scratch. Take 2 weeks off work, and watch him all the time he's awake. Every time he looks 'distracted' and starts sniffing in a particular area, trotting in circles, maybe whining, take him outside and praise him when he performs.

The more concentrated effort you put in now, the sooner the problem will be sorted. Hope this helps :)
