Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / INCORRECT BITE
- By guest [gb] Date 19.03.03 18:41 UTC
Hi,
I have got a stunning Golden retriever who i bought to show.so well made and a complete show man.But unfortunately 2 of his teeth on the left side of his mouth haven't grown in line with the rest of his bite. Its only very slight but obviously ruins our chances.
Is there any procedure i could have done to align them??
Don't know of any solution so hope someone can help!

If you did have cosmetic dentistry then you will be unable to show the dog, as no act or operation that alters the natural conformation of the dog mnay be carried out, except operations sanctioned by the Kennel Club.

So unless the alignment is causing the dog a problem, and if it is really slight then I doubt it is, then just continue showing him, some judges will notice, and peg him back accordingly, and others won't.
