I just cannot find any ringcraft near the Aylesbury area. My two Alaskan Malamutes are already 8 months old now. It is not easy with this breed to do any obedience, just to get them out mixing with other dogs, as they are stubben!! Love to also hear of any mals local to.

If you get in touch with the KC they'll be able to send you a list of any ringcraft and obedience clubs in your area. There's no reason why you shouldn't take them along to obedience as well, plenty of Mals have earned their KC Good Citizens awards, just make sure you find a training club that encourages the use of titbits :)

I think the closest ones are at Knowl Hill on the A4 between Reading and Maidenhead, if they are still run... They were organised by Maidenhead and District Canine Club and held in Knowlhill Village Hall... I think on Thursday evenings... might have the day wrong!

I go there (Wednesday nights, not thursday :)) & it is very friendly & helpful. Our match nights are on every second Wednesday of the month.

I watched her, and she gave treats when they were square, and used the lead so well to tell them to alter a leg. Just magic,wished I could do it!!
