After 3 years of fighting with my yellow labs ears I saw a post for Thornit and bought some.
It arrived last night.
Having read the instructions it says put a pinch in the ears using a spoon, but avoid the ear hole.
Now am I just supposed to fluff it over the outer, floppy ear (in which case how will it do the job), or does it mean put it in the "outer hole" but don't stuff it all the way down the ear canal?
Please tell me if I'm being thick, but can someone explain for me please

Im one of tose people who never bother to read the instructions (bad I know!) I tip a small amount into the cap of the bottle and then turn the ear inside out. I literally tip the thornit into the ear& then give it a very good rub! Its brilliant stuff, we sell it where I work, and recently sold some to a Dandie Dinmont (the owner not the dog!) who was having Canaural from the vets, the drops were making the ear and whole head really greasy, so I suggested the Thornit! I guarentee it works.
WhenI changed my weimaraner to BARF, she went througha detox& where she was chewing so much more, a lot more wax was produced for a few weeks, so I used Thornit, which helped greatly!

Do you get either of the dog papers as it's usually advertised in those and it is really good as being owned by 4 tibetans i use it quite a bit it really helps as well in the removal of excess ear hair

we sort of "scrunch" a little bit in Barney's ears and give them a good "massage". he has definitely been better since we started using it.

Thornit is definately a God send! Maisie always shakes her head a little bit while moving in the ring, so in the week runing up to Crufts I did a 5 day treatment & she didn't shake at all (she didn't get placed either :( but you can't have everything). I just used the end of a small teaspoon to scoop up a bit of the powder & tipped it into her ear (most of it ended up on the ear leather instead of going inside) & gave it a good rub.
