we have just purchased a 2 year old male Cavalier King Charles. It was previously owned by a breeder who mated the dog last week. The dog is now with us and is very edgy and upset. he barks a lot of the time and is very unsettled. How long is it likely to be before he settles down, and is there anything we can do to help the situation and calm him down?
