Hello All, I have recently registered on Champdogs as I shall be welcoming my first Cavalier King Charles puppy into its forever home at the end September / October. I’m doing lots of reading and research in preparation and wondered if I could reach out for some advice?

I know this beautiful breed can be prone to separation anxiety and would really value your experiences and advice with regard to the early weeks and overnight when first home. Reading lots about crates but wanted to ask if puppy was in a crate in the bedroom or close by on a landing?  And how to manage these early weeks as best as possible. Many thanks in advance for your time. I just want to be the perfect Mum ???? ????
