my 9month old choc lab is driving us mad, when he is out he is fine, but when he comes in the house he wont leave you alone always jumping at you or nipping,is this normall behavior or do we have a problem?

All puppies jump and nip but you must put your foot down now! teaching him some basic sit and stay may help and give him plenty of toys to play with so he isn`t pestering you and if he does jump up and nip push him down with a very firm NO you must make him understand you are the boss or you are going to have big problems later the key is to be firm but not unkind
good luck

This sounds like normal adolescent behaviour to me! At this age they have a huge hormone surge, way higher levels of testosterone than they'll have when they are mature, and it makes them fizz! (This is the age so many get given up to rescue :() If you can live through this stage, taking him out and about and giving him lots of things to do (like teenage boys they get terribly bored then get up to mischief) - lots of training to exercise his brain as well, not just going out for a couple of walks a day, by the time he's about 18 months old he should be much more settled and on his way to being a joy!

Hope this helps :)
