ive just had my 14 year old collie diagnosed with lymph cancer 3 months after losing my 12 year old  collie from the same thing.can anybody tell me if its normal for a dog to be very lethargic after starting prednicare,5mg?she had a week on 2 tablets twice a day ,then at the check up,because the growths werent shrinking much she upped the dose to 3 twice a day shes had 2 doses of the 3 tablets, last night and this morning.the early walk she seemed so tired i cut it short, and since then shes barely moved.im giving her water every couple of hours as i know she ll be thirsty, she ate her breakfast ok.she was also given omeprozole to protect her stomach but has only had one dose of that so far.i know shes an old lady, but obviously id rather not lose her yet.thanks for any advice x

Oh I'm sorry to hear this, I can't help with your question but wanted to post to ask if your vet had mentioned panacur (fenbendazole) as a possible treatment? I've heard of 2 dogs now that have had really good results being treated with panacur alone for lymphoma.
