I've heard a couple of people mention the crates that are available on Ebay from a place in Stoke-on-Trent. Have any of you bought one of these? They are the black powder-coated ones with two doors. They seem cheap compared to others I can find on the internet. Just wondered if they were any good? Am I saving money in the short-term, only to spend more in the long-run???
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah
My friend same breed as mine, bought one of these crates for her male Stud dog, and has found it just fine, she said that the gates and latches are fine. And then went on to say she would buy again from him, delivery was extremely fast to. One of my latest puppy owners recently bought one, and agrees she hasn't found the cage not to be puppy safe/ proof.

Hi
we got a black crate from www.demon/bedding.co - cant rememeber where ( sorry) but it had free delivery and free vet bedding ( pro-fleece) with it too . I think it was £50 for the 30" size . I cant sya whether they are very durable though as pup only goes in when he wants to eat his treats in peace . It also has two doors and looks very nice .

I used the seller on Ebay you refer to , I rang for advice prior to buying and they could not be more helpful, I sent a cheque that day and the crate arrived 2 days later !! and it included free vet bedding, I bought the 42 inch size (cant remember the cost! ) abd it was cheaper than anywhere else I could find. I have a boisterous 6 mth old OES and he is fine in it (although it may be going to be too small when he is full grown!!! )
I would not hesitate to buy from again.

I also rang the seller before I purchased and he was so honest he even told me I was buying a crate that was really over big for my dog and that I should go for the cheaper smaller one.
I told him that I needed it urgently and he made the delivery man who was in the shop at the time wait for him to package up my crate so I ould get it the next day.
I cant recommend the seller highly enough
