Hi all,

I've been struggling for a while to find a responsible dog walker and home sitter.

There are dates I currently have in mind, but would like to build a relationship with someone that we could use again as/when needed, which might include house sitting later on.

The problem I'm having is finding someone who is happy to walk my 4 year old Golden Retriever on his own and to keep him on a lead at all times. All the walkers I have found are either not insured/only walk four or more dogs at a time (which I am personally against, but let's not get into that)/ too far away/allergic to non hypoallergenic dogs/won't walk non neutered dogs etc.

So since this is a site full of responsible dog owners, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where I could possibly find someone? I've tried the good old yellow pages, google searches, facebook pages/groups, Vet recommendations, word of mouth recommendations, sites such as Borrow my Doggy etc. but unfortunately none of these are proving suitable.

If anyone has any ideas at all, I would be so incredibly grateful.
