I mated my German shepherd bitch 6 weeks ago she was a maiden bitch and she is also very energetic the mating seemed to go perfectly the tie was 50 mins and the stud dog is a top producer but she isnt showing any signs only that her rib cage is slightly bigger than normal. I have seen my vet but he cant tell if she is. Im new to this and wonder if anyone can offer some advice.

The first physical sign that my bitches are in whelp is the "blowing" of the ribcage. Their bellies don't start swelling till between 6 and 7 weeks. After about 7 weeks I can usually feel the pups moving when I rest my hands on their sides.
