Feeling happy at the moment.

Some of you may remember I posted when we lost Zuma back in Feb and the house was dogless for the 1st time since 1975.

We now have a new family member - foster with the aim to adopt in 2 weeks time.

Can I introduce Shep, He is (surprise) another GSD, he is somewhere between 8 & 10 yrs old, a small black & gold male and was with Elite Shepherd Rescue.
He came home yesterday, jumped into the car crate as soon as I opened it, a 2 hour journey with not a peep and has settled very quickly so far.
He was very friendly and enthusiastic when we met him - jumping up to say hello which got the comment that ' not seen him do that to anyone before' so think he chose us as much as we chose him.

Just wanted to share my 'happy' feeling and thanks to Elite for making it happen

Good for you taking on an older boy, they so often get overlooked.

May he bring you as much joy as our rescue, the three years since he joined us feels more like three weeks.
