Definitely worth checking. Frankie came to us at 4 months, producing what sounds like a similar stool situation. I had it tested for Giardia, Campanella, and all the other internal parasites. His test came back pos. for Giardia and also for roundworm eggs despite him having been said to have been wormed before coming to me. I also had Teazel's stools checked (for Giardia) as this was the first time any of mine had ever had that!! I was shocked because he didn't come from some BYB! It took a switch from Panacur to Metronidazole before we got clear test results back. If it is this, be careful yourself - if you are not anyway just now !, wash hands carefully as Giardia can transfer to humans. Clean where he empties well too. And be aware that sometimes the protozoa that isn't killed off, buries into the gut to reappear later if the animal is stressed.
Could also be colitis.
