Hi so far ive been putting the older dog in the kitchen with any bully chews or bones and puppy in the living room in his crate with his but he whines to get out to eat it freely which ive been told only give good things inside the crate so i take the chew away and let him out. If i was to let older dog in with his pup would annoy him as he takes everything away from older dog and i dont want conflict so am i doing the right thing here? Pup is 11weeks older dog 8 years

Thanks

Pup is only very young and he has to be taught  there is nothing nasty in what u are doing . I know people who teach their dogs to have chews only in a towel or similar so its no different really. Imo carry on as u are he will get to work out that if he wants his chews he needs to be in the crate
