My neighbour has a boxer and he's looking for suggestions on good dog training treats. I said I will make him some if I knew of any good recipes which I don't. Can anyone help please?

Why not try one of the dried fish products.  Fish4 do some but they got too pricey so I switched to one down here in Cornwall.

Hope this link works.  My computer is on a go-slow this morning!

I use a company called K9 delights and they do a pate which cuts into cubes, it’s grain free and perfect for training. also Eden pet food do some dried treats which seem to be really high value too.

Quick liver cake or sardine cake. One egg flour of choice coconut is good if trying to avoid grains, liver or sardines , water or milk all liquidised to texture of thick batter.put in oven or microwave .

Which animal liver would you suggest?

I used ox liver but any liver will do. I also cut heart into bite size cubes and dried it in the oven

Beechwood smoked hot dog sausage - the vacuum packed kind. Aldi are cheaper than the Herta ones, and are just as good. Will cut up into lots of pieces, which can be frozen in small portions.
