My daughter had a bad reaction to the first one but only lasted a couple of days but no reaction to the second, so don’t worry if you had a bad reaction to the first. I personally did not have a reaction to either one.

I am beyond devastated, my aunt went for her vaccination yesterday she decided to just have it so its over with she had a sore arm and a bad headache for most of yesterday and then at 6pm she started to go really dizzy and her neck became very painful she called 111 who advised she go to hospital and they sent out an ambulance to her she phoned me up to let me know she didnt want me coming just wanted me to know.

Then i phoned up the hospital at 9pm last night as i had not heard from my aunt , she had been admitted as her she was struggling to breath, she was tested for covid but was negative they could not find what was causing her symptoms and they said there keeping an eye on her.

This morning i had a phone call to tell me she passed away very early this morning from a cardiac arrest, i asked if i could speak with the doctor who looked after her and i did an hour after speaking with the nurse.

He said there was no warning signs her heart was fine , her blood pressure was good.

He told me that he has had a few patients admitted with cardiac arrest after having the pfizer jab which is what my aunt had but they all survived my aunt is the first he has lost hes not saying it is the vaccine but there is a possibility that the vaccine could have contributed to her death but we wont know for sure until a postmortem is performed.

I am beyond devastated and i wish she never got the jab, im sorry to those who disagree with me but im not getting it after what happened to my aunt she was very healthy and to just die like that after having it.

The problem is these things are not getting reported properly and they should be.

Its ok for everyone to say the vaccine is safe or irs just a small number who died from clots ect but they were people who had there lives taken away by the vaccine and they could have been a mom, dad, brother, sister to somone who now has lost them to the vaccine.

I feel with the astrazenca vaccine for examole they should stop giving it to people and look at why those people got deadly blood clots and then adjust it so it is safe.

Just like with the pfizer why are people getting cardiac arrests even if not all are dying why is it happening in the first place find out why and adjust so its safe.

Looking the cases we're people have developed the blood clots, there is no information available regarding their previous health status.

Also there have been been 56 deaths from 49, 000,000 recipients & a total of 451 cases of cases of people developing blood clots(including the 56 deaths)

You have to view this in perspective the cases are 0.0009204081632% of recipients, deaths are 0.0001142857142% of recipients.

On the other hand the risks from infection & death from covid are much higher at
7.2096774193548% & 0.2064516129032% respectively

Despite much research there has yet to be a proven direct link between the vaccine & the blood clots.

You infer that no one is reporting cases, no one is researching for links, you are so wrong all deaths following vaccinations are ALL recorded as are allergic or other responses & the vaccine companies & independant researchers are all involved in this work
- By Meekos mom [gb] Date 28.05.21 12:08 UTC
I get what your saying but thats the problem its not getting invesigated on if there is a direct link and if there was i dont think they'd tell us as no one would want it then.

On facebook after announcing my aunts death i have had a few who have reported they had bad side effects and i was also told of a group for victims of the vaccine.

Theres a lot more out there than you think who have not done as well after the vaccine. Im still not fully against the vaccine but they should be looking at why people are having blood clots , why there havijg cardiac arrests and strokes ect afterwards and then once they can find the why adjust it so its safer.

I know the risk is lower but even 1 death is 1 too many no one shpuld loose there life from a vaccine that was supposed to protect them.
- By Meekos mom [gb] Date 28.05.21 12:10 UTC
If there are researching links ect then why has astrazenca not stopped giving there jab it should not be given to anyone since they know it causes blood clots and find out why and how to adjust it safely so theres no risk at all.

56 deaths is too many no one should be loosing there life at all

I am so sorry and totally understand why u feel the vaccine is not atm fpr u .the vaccines have not been stopped because the risk to life of covid is far far higher than that from the vaccine . On a risk analysis the vaccine is a better outcome e
There is research being done and reported almost daily in the media on what and why these reactions are happening amd no doubt findings will be published officially at some point
Its true we don't want even one person to become incapacitated or worse die from the vaccine but we also don't want more deaths from covid a very difficult balance  I really feel time will show us more and vaccines will be tweaked according
So sorry for your loss

I appreciate that you're devastated by the tragic loss of your aunt and I completely sympathise. But we need to remember that the risk of blood clots from Covid is higher than the risk of blood clots from any of the vaccines.
- By Meekos mom [gb] Date 28.05.21 13:44 UTC
I know at the moment theres no proven link between the Pfizer jab and what happened to my aunt , i can only go off what the Doctor who looked after her said that others who have had the pfizer vaccine were admitted after havibg a cardiac arrest and that shes the first to die that hes treated but if if the others did not die thats still not good and i hope there able to see if theres a link or not.

But my point is based of the clots which we know theres a risk they have proven that then we have other vaccines we could use that dont have the threat of clots so my point is as soon as they knew the astrazenca caused clots in some people and 56 have died that should have been enough for them to stop giving that particular jab not just to younger people but to everyone until they have finished investigating why the clot risk is there and once they have adjusted it and its safer then start giving it again.

If my point even makes sense

So sorry to hear about your Aunt

Sorry to hear about your aunt. Awful for you all.

The thing with vaccines, any vaccines and likewise medication they all hold side effects from the common and minor ones to rare and serious ones, even paracetamol gas some bad side effects known for some but its rare.

I get what your saying but thats the problem its not getting invesigated on if there is a direct link and if there was i dont think they'd tell us as no one would want it then.

Of course research is ongoing into any reactions after the vaccines, Oxford AstraZeneca have been transparent from day one, there are also independant research on going to see if there is any direct link, several researchers have put forward theories by doing computer simulations & cross referencing all the known cases & deaths to look for any & every possible causal links, but to date it's only the theoretic studies that have found any possible link, but these are not proven as yet.

Because I have a defective immune system, it was important that I did not have any vaccine that was in anyway derived from the Covid19 virus, so it was Hobson's choice for me. Apart from a slight soreness at the injection site(caused by previous nerve & muscle damage in the same area). Being immunosystem compromised I am monitored very closely for any reactions.

Without in depth knowledge, it's easy to get worried & confused by the conspiracy anti-vaxers, who are not medically qualified on the whole, who are very voracious in their protests.

I wish you well with your decision not to have any vaccine & hope you are not one of those who contract Covid19.
- By Meekos mom [gb] Date 28.05.21 16:51 UTC
Thank you ann, im not saying i will never have the vaccination but i want to wait for now until more is known about the side effects and why they happen which will take time.

I have avoided covid for over a year so i dont think im at any risk i will continue to keep to the rules and be extra careful as we always have. My husband is still going to have his but i just dont feel comfortable right now to have it and would rather wait.

Husband & I had 2nd shot of astrazenica last Friday- I felt a bit washed out for a couple of days now both of us all good and glad to be fully vaccinated
- By masajackrussell [gb] Date 02.06.21 20:18 UTC
All good thanks meekos - just a sore arm for a couple of days
- By Waddles [gb] Date 03.06.21 06:59 UTC
Yes! I'm epileptic so I was in one of the first groups and it all went well. I had Astra Zeneca. My first vaccine I was sleepy for the first day after the shot but after that no soreness or other side effects, I got my second on March 18th and just some localised soreness at the vaccine site for 48 hours but not overly sore, I still slept on that side. My carer had Phizer and lost complete feeling in her right arm. Couldn't drive to me, couldn't do housework, couldn't walk her dog but her second was just localised soreness. But both my support workers had Phizer and neither had any side affects aside from soreness. :)

hello waddles, I am like your carer.  had jab on 6th Feb. no soreness but over the months gradually worsened. everything that was wrong with me before increased.  when I get better I shall have one of the new better ones maybe.

My aunts postmortem confirmed there was no medical reason for her cardiac arrest and the only logical explanation was that her vaccine caused the cardiac arrest.

It has been reported.

I also found on the GOV website that there has been over 1000 deaths from the vaccine and a majority are elderly or people with health conditions but again majority not all.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-reactions/coronavirus-vaccine-summary-of-yellow-card-reporting

If you look further down at the fatel outcome part thats were it is.

Covid is still more of a threat and killer i still agree with this but even if its a small number of people who are dying from the vaccine we should not have any deaths from somthing that is supposed to protect us. I just hope that they find out why people like my aunt and other are having cardiac arrests and more ect and make it even safer so no one dies from the vaccine.

Im not anti vaxxer at all im just cautious of whats happened

I suggest you read the report & alleged ADR analytical data.

Nowhere does it state that any alleged ADR(fatal or otherwise) is directly related to any of the vaccines. In fact to date there is no direct link scientifically proven to any ADR

On our local radio station a caller claimed that one of the vaccines had caused him to be in ICU for 4 days, a month later, with severe breathing problems, the fact that the caller had COPD & Emphysema obviously wasn't related to his hospitalisation & he stated he had reported ir as an ADR

I presume there will be a Coroner's inquest into your aunt's death if the post mortem conclusion is the vaccine was the cause of death. This is the usual outcome of sudden deaths with no previous history of illness.
