Morning everyone, my girl gave birth to 8 beaut pups 3 days ago she was loving her food right up to a few hours before she delivered, but now won’t eat the puppy food she’s still eating meat and chicken but I’d love to know what else people fed their girls to keep milk production up? She went to the vets last night to be checked over too. Any advice would be amazing thankyou

Make sure she drinks lots of fluids to produce milk - at the moment she's been producing colostrum but her proper milk should be starting now. Let the pups suckle as much as they want - it will have been almost continuous so far - to encourage her to make milk.
