Topic Dog Boards / General / light, portable - but secure crate recommendations!

I've never had much luck with soft crates in the past. Even the odd frustrated swipe at the netting in the front has torn it and ruined the crate. Yet... they are very portable. The prospect of lugging a big metal thing around in an already over-full car is not a good one.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a tough and hard-to-destroy brand of soft crate which can be collapsed/is portable?

Um, I think those are going to be difficult to travel with due to the size they take up... :)

Although most do come in two parts, one part fits inside the other and you can put bags inside it?

Hmmm, that's an idea! They are quite expensive though.

I will check them out!
