Let's hope these get back to their owners and not too damaged by their experience.as for the perpetrators? What will happen and what should happen .....

from what I have read there was a cruelty seizure on the same site last year, dogs, poulty and a very young pony all in shocking condition.  I am really hoping these dogs were better cared for -and are swiftly identified and returned to owners

I hope some of them are the Bassets stolen from a Pack Kennel.  When I last checked, they were still showing as stolen.

On googling it seems the dogs and cats were those who had been homed previously. They had contacted the owners for photos and picked from those .

Never mind ff ..... I have pretty much decided the decision has been made for me.   I live with Teazel to the end of her days, and then, depending on my circumstances at the time, look, or don't, for another.   I am in touch with another Basset Rescue lady who may be a possible for another Basset, or maybe two.   I may be leaving my collection of Basset figurines to her, to sell for funds.   She seemed interested.   I don't do selling on Ebay, just buying (too much!).   My main problem with selling is photographs, and then the hassle of packing up and sending - and dealing with customers who may be annoyed about something!!

We did a lot of advertising work in Toronto, with our hounds.   Animal Actors.   It was fun and their lunches outstanding.   There was a lot of hanging around for shoots, but although the money wasn't huge (and no royalties), it got my hounds out there.
