Good job there are no shows atm - maybe by the time showing resumes, those in 'charge'? will have made up their minds about pet/dog travel between the mainland and Ireland/N.Ireland. I'd heard somewhere that Pet Passport have been scrapped. And I have to ask why, with animals moving OUT of the mainland (rabies-free) a rabies vax. is needed, with all the paperwork involved to do that. To say nothing of the cost. So much for people wanting to show in N.Ireland/Ireland if it's going to cost £100 per journey.
When leaving for Canada from the UK, before Pet Passport even (and returning when our lot had to go through quarantine), our then two travelled with a Health Certificate and were vaccinated against rabies once landed in Canada - and our then vet recommended a distemper update as that is slightly different in Canada (or so he said).
