Just wondering if anyone can help me?

I have 2 cavalier, boys,an 18 month old and 61/2 month old, they are not neutered.

Since getting Ben, Charlie has been fine..... no problems at all. But 2 days ago he has started to pee in the house........only a few times but unfortunatley i have not caught him in the act. They normally have the run of downstairs, they are not allowed upstairs

Ben is comletely house trained and hasn't started to cock his leg
My question is...is this usual and what can i do about it because it can't go on.

There is always a chance he has an infection of some kind, keep an eye on him just in case.

if you havent caught him in the act are you completely sure it is charlie and not ben? In either case sometimes dogs do this if a nearby bitch is in season.

Some dogs also do this just to mark their territory. Ground them and don't allow the marker free run and nip it in the butt. But u must catch him in the act or he will not know why he is bad. They both may be doing it, one will mark and the other will mark over that. My dogs do it all the time, outside only thankfully.

I know someone that has 2 males one is fixed and the other intack. The intack lifted his leg all the time he was 8 months. They grounded him and sprayed him with water when they caught him lifting and now it's been 3 months with him not lifting in the house. They brought him to my house and he lifted everywhere I kenneled the little bratt. Hopefully now when he comes to visit he is a good boy. :)

I would take him to a vet if this persists just to be safe. Our lab, although neutered, never goes inside this house unless he is sick. It's often a warning sign.
