Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding one of my dogs.  I noticed a few weeks ago that one of her eyes looked smaller than the other but thought it was probably "just me" and the light etc.  I thought I noticed it again a few days ago but today, I DEFINITELY saw it and got her up on the table for a closer look.  It was slightly gungey but not any more than I would expect from day to day, certainly not excessive and it was brown/black in colour but she was definitely sortof squinting it.  I have an appointment with the vet this evening but just wondered whether anyone else has had this issue and what did it turn out to be?  There has been a change in her behaviour over the past few months in that she has become whinney for no apparent reason and she also took to trying to get into my sitting room and pooing on the rug!!!  She's not dirty anywhere else and asks to go out, so that's weird.
Anybody have any ideas or experiences?  I have already played out the worst-case scenario in my head and hope it's not that

Take care everyone

sorry no ideas , don't even want to go down the worst case route. Lets hope its something simple. Given her behaviour change I think a vet check is a good idea

I know it's more easily said than done - but try not to think about it at all until you see the vet. Worrying when you can change anything and about things which may not happen, just causes misery. So just focus on other things....

I'd WAIT for your vet's considered/professional opinion re what's going on - just to ask is it one eye is smaller than the other, or one is perhaps bigger than the other?   As said, why worry about something that may not be the case!   And keep off the internet health sites which again may tell you nothing but just make you worry.    All too often 'a little knowledge is a bad thing' ....... true.
