I've just received my Taz's hip score results. She scored 11. My vet has said that this isn't a bad score as she is a very active bitch and all that jumping about does add points through wear and tear. I'm however a bit gutted!!! I think I'll wait until the Vwd test arrives and see what her results are for that.

I don't see why you are gutted ..I had a look on the web ..and found this , an article giving average HD scores for various breeds , the average for Dobes is , apparantly , 10 . Your Dobes score seems quite good in that case :)

Don't be too dishearted with 11 as the breed average is 10 (says she who was upset with 6 a few months ago :) )
