It would appear that the puppies (16 weeks) have "helped themselves" to a packet of cigarettes that Al left in the utility room when he put some washing in the machine. I've tried doing a search for nicotine poisoning but can't find anything. The two of them appear absolutely okay - have eaten breakfast this morning as usual - rushed out into the garden - pooped as usual - are now having half an hour in the puppy run and are playing around like made but should I be concerned?? Should I stay home in case I have to whip them into the vets? If anyone is on the board at this time & can revert, I'll be grateful.
Otherwise, I'm ringing "Uncle Vet" when I get to London & Al will come home & take them in to him. Isn't it always the way - the one day that they are left for 4 hours is the day that you feel you need to keep an eye on them!
Bl***y dogs, bl***dy men - after all, why MUST he smoke???

PS - they are both fine - apart from the fact that they jumped up at Al & tried to nuzzle into his pocket this evening - looking for another packet of fags???? At their age???? They'll stunt their growth!!!
