Just arrived so please be gentle!  We have joined after trawling the internet for a reputable source for another dog, adult or pup, male or female, far or near. My goodness, I'd have more success looking for hens teeth!

Ideally, a working cocker spaniel, preferably a brown girl.

We are a young 60'something couple, active lives, homes in Berkshire and Dorset, love fishing, shooting (clays only!! Sorry about that!), walking, canoeing and anything else that comes our way, even indulged in a small adventure caravan with planned trips to all corners of these Isles. we have large, secure gardens, woodlands, meadows beaches and heathlands all on the doorstep. Experienced dog owners who take them on as a family member, most have been rescue dogs (Anne volunteers at an animal rescue centre), all have been thoroughly spoilt but kept healthy and exercised.

A recent loss of Daisy, a beautiful 3 year old spaniel-collie cross rescue from Ireland who suffered a number of catastrophic collapsed discs, probably due to her genetics, precipitated this search, though we had agreed to add another before the tragedy.

For the rest of the time on here, tips and tricks, food and training ideas and anything else that sparks an interest.

Thanks.

I have no idea how reputable the Gundogs Direct site is but there are several litters advertised there.

Sorry to hear about Daisy. I lost my Braid,a Beardie/Borderx, at 3 with something very similar. Hope you find another dog soon
